I should've posted this on Wednesday the 27th, but work got in the way yet again. I got a 94 on my First Responder Advanced Training yearly refresher course! It's sponsored by where I work, so that's a big help. They even paid for the Hep-B series of shots we needed plus cellphones. The class was from 8-5 and they weren't kidding. Actually (I hate that word), it was from 7:50 until 5:10
. They also gave us brand new BP (digitized) monitors for our bags. Not that they will fit inside or anything, but we have our own now. The bags they gave us last year are really nice and absolutely loaded. I'm getting way more out of all this, insofar as interest goes, than I did when I took and passed the ECA exam 3-4 years ago! I think that the mentality of large corporations has done a complete 360 when it comes to employee safety. That's a good thing!

Mother, I'm so proud of you and what you have accomplished. And you are ACTUALLY almost making what you deserve for a change! (but not quite) :)
Awwwwwwwwwww!!! I love YOU too!
Um, I'm proud of you too. I don't know what the hell you're talking about, but YOU GO GIRL!! ;)
WAIT! It's not high tech, is it? It's medical! RIGHT?
Okay, JOn said that my first comment was "rude." He doesn't know that I am totally messing with you, and that you probably GET it. :) You know we love you...
HAHA!! Yes, I totally "get it". Tell Jon not to worry. It's the advanced form of CPR and I started this years ago because of my Mother - who's now nearly 91 - living with us. I wanted to be sure I could handle any situation that may or may not arise with her health. Had I continued on the course initially, I would be an EMS now, but my company sponsors this category of training so... You guys are funny! Happy Sunday!
Whew. (wiping forehead).
